September 9, 2025 | Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (The Arabian Wall Street) — Saudi Tourism Authority (STA) has unveiled its new global campaign, featuring football legend Cristiano Ronaldo as the face of the “Unreal Calendar.” This initiative is designed to showcase the variety and vibrancy of events taking place across Saudi Arabia, with the overarching theme: “I Came for Football, I Stayed for More.”
A dynamic events calendar
The campaign aims to place Saudi Arabia’s dynamic events calendar on the world stage, targeting key international markets such as Europe, India, and China. Highlighting major events like the Esports World Cup, Formula 1, LIV Golf Riyadh, and top-tier tennis matches and boxing showdowns, the Unreal Calendar showcases the Kingdom’s rise as a global hub for international gatherings. This also positions Saudi Arabia as a central figure in upcoming high-profile sports events, including the AFC Asian Cup 2027, Olympic Esports Games in 2027, Asian Winter Games in 2029, and the FIFA World Cup 2034.
