September 5, 2025 | New York, USA (The Arabian Wall Street) — The world’s 10 richest people saw their combined net worth edge up 1% in August to $2.13 trillion, according to Bizmart. The modest gain came despite mixed fortunes, with six billionaires adding wealth while four saw declines as tech stocks wavered.

Elon Musk extended his reign as the richest person for the 16th consecutive month, growing his fortune to $415.6 billion, $14.4 billion higher than July. The Tesla and SpaceX chief widened the gap between himself and Larry Ellison, whose net worth fell nearly $29 billion to $270.9 billion.

Mark Zuckerberg ranked third with $253 billion, down $13.7 billion as Meta shares dipped. Jeff Bezos followed at $240.9 billion, while Google cofounders Larry Page ($178.3B) and Sergey Brin ($165.9B) surged on Alphabet’s 9% stock rally.

French luxury magnate Bernard Arnault rose to seventh with $154.1 billion, while Steve Ballmer ($151.3B), Jensen Huang ($150.4B), and Warren Buffett ($150.4B) rounded out the top 10.
