September 9, 2025 | Cupertino, California (The Arabian Wall Street) — Apple is set to unveil its newest lineup of products during today’s “Awe Dropping” event, with expectations centering on the iPhone 17 series, a slimmer design variant, and updates across its ecosystem. The event begins at 1 p.m. EDT and will be livestreamed on YouTube, Apple’s website, and Apple TV.

What to expect from the iPhone 17

Reports suggest the iPhone 17 Pro will feature 6.6% greater battery capacity, enabled by the shift to eSIM technology, which saves internal space. Apple is also expected to introduce the iPhone 17 Air, a thinner and more affordable model—reportedly a third slimmer than the iPhone 16 Pro—featuring a single rear camera. Premium models like the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max will include improved processors, upgraded camera systems, and simultaneous front-and-back video recording.

Pricing outlook

While official pricing will be revealed during the event, leaks suggest the iPhone 17 will start at $799, while the iPhone 17 Pro could rise to $1,099 for the 256GB model, dropping the previous 128GB option. The iPhone 17 Air may be priced between $899 and $949, while the iPhone 17 Pro Max is expected to begin at $1,199.

Other Apple products on the horizon

Apple is also tipped to unveil new watches, including the Apple Watch Ultra 3, Series 11, and SE 3, featuring faster chips and larger displays. Pricing has not been confirmed, though current models sell at $299 (SE), $499 (Series), and $799 (Ultra).

In addition, the AirPods Pro 3 may debut with smaller charging cases, while the AirTag 2 is anticipated to feature longer range, stronger connectivity, and updated safety software.

Key background

Apple posted $44.5 billion in iPhone revenue in its latest quarter, up over $5 billion year-on-year—the strongest quarterly growth in four years. The company has committed $600 billion to U.S. manufacturing to avoid tariffs imposed by President Donald Trump, though it still faced $800 million in Q3 tariff costs and expects $1.1 billion in Q4.

The “Awe Dropping” event could set the tone for Apple’s next growth phase, combining sleek hardware design with ecosystem-wide upgrades.
