The Al-Majma’ah Chamber of Commerce and Industry is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing diverse commercial activities and supporting the private sector in al-Majma’ah Governorate, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. As one of the five chambers in Riyadh Province—alongside the Riyadh Chamber, al-Kharj Chamber, Zulfi Chamber, and al-Quway’iyyah Chamber—it plays a vital role in promoting economic growth, protecting businesses, and ensuring strong representation before ministries and public authorities. The chamber is also a member of the Federation of Saudi Chambers, reinforcing its importance at the national level.

Objectives of Al-Majma’ah Chamber

The chamber’s main objective is to empower the private sector to fulfill its developmental role in line with Saudi Vision 2030. It aims to position itself as a leader in both economic advancement and community development in al-Majma’ah Governorate. To achieve this, it provides services that strengthen business activities, improve resilience, and create a supportive environment for entrepreneurs, SMEs, and productive families.

Roles and Services

The Al-Majma’ah Chamber delivers a wide range of services to its members and the business community, including:

  • Enhancing the entrepreneurial climate through public-private partnerships that support economic development.
  • Supporting small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and productive families by helping them overcome financial and administrative challenges.
  • Promoting membership growth through targeted marketing that highlights the chamber’s benefits and activities.
  • Offering training courses, workshops, and seminars to build business capacity.
  • Hosting commercial and economic conferences to foster knowledge exchange and networking.
  • Assisting in resolving commercial disputes and acting as a representative of business owners before public institutions.

Organizational Structure

The Al-Majma’ah Chamber operates under the Ministry of Commerce, enjoying legal personality as well as financial and administrative independence. Its structure comprises a general assembly, a board of directors, and a general secretariat.

The chamber has five specialized committees, each serving a critical economic sector:

  • Commercial Sector Committee
  • Service Sector Committee
  • Industrial Sector Committee
  • Real Estate Sector Committee
  • Contracting Sector Committee

The Board of Directors, renewed every four years, is limited to eighteen members, with no individual business represented more than once and no member serving more than two consecutive terms.

The board’s responsibilities include:

  • Approving general policies, strategies, and programs.
  • Reviewing administrative and financial regulations, governance frameworks, and training policies.
  • Overseeing assets, financial performance, and quarterly reports.
  • Reviewing and approving the annual budget, final accounts, and annual report.
  • Representing the chamber in leasing, litigation, borrowing, and donations.
  • Appointing or terminating the Secretary-General and forming committees as needed.

The board meets every sixty days, with the option to convene emergency meetings when necessary.
