Air Arabia UAE has announced the launch of direct seasonal flights between Abu Dhabi and Yekaterinburg, strengthening air links between the Emirates and Russia. The new route will operate twice weekly from October 27, 2025, through March 27, 2026.

The flights will connect Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi with Koltsovo International Airport in Yekaterinburg, one of Russia’s busiest aviation hubs. The airline aims to cater to growing demand for leisure and cultural travel between the two nations, offering passengers greater convenience and affordability.

Air Arabia Abu Dhabi currently operates a fleet of 12 Airbus A320 aircraft, well known for efficiency and comfort. The expansion reflects the carrier’s strategy of growing its footprint across high-demand international routes while enhancing the UAE’s reputation as a global aviation hub.

The airline emphasized that these seasonal services will support tourism, business travel, and cultural exchange, providing passengers with more choice during the winter period when demand for Russian routes peaks. Industry experts believe the move underlines the UAE’s role as a bridge between East and West in global aviation.

With this expansion, Air Arabia Abu Dhabi continues to solidify its position as a key player in the Middle East’s low-cost aviation sector, offering travelers affordable access to new destinations while contributing to the UAE’s growing connectivity.
