The company is currently one of the largest manufactures of the flat glass products in the Middle East region, with a maximum production capacity of 800 tons per day. The company”s factory is located in the Yanbu Industrial City. The company”s activity also includes wholesale and retail trade of all types of glass and raw materials for the manufacture of glass and accessories, in addition to manufacturing cutting and coloring and installing of glass, as well as establishing and managing related mining quarries.
Company History
Obeikan Glass Company was established as a Saudi Closed Joint Stock company under the Articles of Association dated 02/12/1427 H (corresponding to 23/12/2006 G), and Ministerial Resolution No. (Q/224) dated 27/08/1428 H (corresponding to 09/09/2007 G) and the Constituent Assembly held on 29/10/1428 H (corresponding to 10/11/2007 G), and the Commercial Registration No. (1010241520) dated 30/11/1428 H (corresponding to 10/12/2007 G) issued in the city of Riyadh, with a capital of Two Hundred Million (200,000,000) Saudi Riyals divided into Twenty Million (20,000,000) ordinary shares of equal value, the value of each share being Ten (10) Saudi Riyals. On 29/05/1440 H (corresponding to 04/02/2019 G), the Extraordinary General Assembly agreed to increase the capital from Two Hundred Million (200,000,000) Saudi Riyals to Two Hundred and Forty Million (240,000,000) Saudi Riyals, divided into Twenty-Four Million (24,000,000) Ordinary shares, paid in full, the value of each share of which is ten (10) Saudi Riyals, and the increase of Forty Million (40,000,000) Saudi Riyals has been met by capitalizing the amount from the account of dues to related parties in proportion to the contribution of each of them to the company”s capital.
