Company History
Yanbu Cement Company was established on March 24, 1977, corresponding to Rabi” al-Awwal 24, 1397 with a capital of SAR 700,000,000, divided into nominal value shares at SAR 100 per share, and total of 7,000,000 shares. The company witnessed its first capital change in 1993 corresponding to 1414. Where the capital was raised to SAR 1,050,000,000, an increase of SAR 350,000,000 through the issuance of priority rights shares. The shares were re-split, and the nominal value of share became 50 riyals, so the number of shares increased to 21,000,000 shares. In 2013 corresponding to 1434 the company increased its capital for the second time, where the capital reached to SAR 1,575,000,000. By increasing 525 million riyals through granting shares. The shares were also re-split to become their nominal value 10 Riyals per share, so the number of the company”s shares became 157,500,000 shares.
