Company History
SABIC was established by Royal Decree No. M / 66 dated 13 Ramadan 1396H (corresponding to September 6, 1976) and recorded as a Saudi joint stock company under Commercial Registration No. 10813 dated 14 Muharram 1397H (corresponding to January 4, 1977). SABIC is owned 70% by the government of Saudi Arabia and 30% by the citizens of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the other GCC. (SABIC) classified in the list of the ten largest global petrochemical companies, and the largest non-oil industrial company in the Middle East.
