Malvern College Riyadh will open in 2027, marking the UK institution’s first school in Saudi Arabia. Malvern College and KSA Education Investment Partners (KEIP) announced their partnership at the Great Future Event in London.

Founded in 1865, Malvern College ranks among the top 50 International Baccalaureate schools worldwide. Its alumni include Nobel Prize winners, Olympic champions, acclaimed author C.S. Lewis, and senior leaders in politics and science. The school promotes a holistic approach, combining academic excellence with sport, music, and the arts.

Headmaster Keith Metcalfe said the Riyadh campus represents more than expansion. “This collaboration is about sharing our values of curiosity, kindness, independence, resilience, integrity and ambition across a global community,” he explained. He also stressed that the new school will respect Saudi culture while maintaining Malvern’s international standards.

KEIP aims to strengthen Saudi education under Vision 2030. The platform focuses on preparing future Saudi leaders while promoting national values, identity, and the Arabic language.

KEIP Chairman Naif Alrasheed said: “By combining Malvern’s academic heritage with our ambition, we will prepare the next generation of Saudis to thrive in a digital and global world.”

The Riyadh school will be the first in a series of planned nurseries and schools across the Kingdom. Saudi students will gain access to Malvern’s proven educational model, which has prepared pupils for top universities such as Oxford, Cambridge, and the Ivy League.

With its arrival in Saudi Arabia, Malvern College Riyadh seeks to inspire pupils with British academic excellence blended with local values. The goal is to equip young people with confidence, resilience, and leadership skills for success at home and abroad.
