NYU Abu Dhabi Executive MBA

The Stern School of Business at NYU Abu Dhabi has launched its first Executive MBA program, designed specifically for working professionals in the MENA region. The part-time program spans 23 months, combining academic rigor with practical business expertise, and culminates in a fully accredited MBA degree conferred jointly by NYU Stern and NYU Abu Dhabi.

The program offers a flexible structure, allowing executives to continue their careers while acquiring advanced leadership, strategic, and managerial skills. Organisations benefit by retaining top talent and applying new strategies directly within the workplace, enhancing both individual and organisational growth.

Fabio Piano, Interim Vice Chancellor of NYU Abu Dhabi, highlighted the program’s impact: “Launching the Executive MBA at Stern underscores our commitment to empowering experienced leaders shaping business in the region and globally. The program reinforces Abu Dhabi’s role as a hub for knowledge and economic transformation.”

The curriculum includes interaction with Stern at NYUAD’s full-time faculty, a distinguished team of global scholars and industry experts based in Abu Dhabi. It also features two week-long global residencies in New York City and Shanghai, giving participants exposure to international business ecosystems and insights into some of the world’s most dynamic markets.

Bharat Anand, Dean of NYU Stern, added: “The MENA region’s rapid growth is creating strong demand for top talent. The Executive MBA offers a flexible program for professionals, combining world-class faculty with strong connections to local corporate networks.”

Participants will collaborate with leading regional and international partners on hands-on experiential projects, addressing real-world business challenges while expanding professional networks. The program integrates with the broader business community, aligning with NYUAD’s mission as a regional anchor institution supporting the UAE’s human capital development.

Applications for the Executive MBA program opened on September 9, offering an opportunity for senior professionals across industries to elevate their careers without pausing their current roles.
