Turkish Airlines Abu Dhabi operations are set for a major boost as the world’s most globally connected carrier introduces double daily flights between Abu Dhabi and Istanbul starting October 26, 2025. The move marks a significant expansion for the airline, increasing its frequency from ten to fourteen weekly flights, and providing travelers with enhanced flexibility and seamless access to over 350 destinations worldwide.
The expanded schedule ensures more convenient travel options for both business and leisure passengers, reinforcing Istanbul’s position as one of the world’s premier transit hubs. With two daily departures from Abu Dhabi, travelers will enjoy shorter layovers and improved connections to Europe, Asia, and the Americas via Turkish Airlines’ state-of-the-art hub at Istanbul Airport.

This expansion coincides with Turkish Airlines’ 44th year of operations in the UAE, a milestone that underscores the airline’s enduring commitment to connecting the Emirates with the world.
Erol Şenol, Vice President of Sales (Middle East and Cyprus) at Turkish Airlines, commented:
“The launch of double daily flights from Abu Dhabi is both a celebration of our four-decade presence in the UAE and a renewed commitment to offering our guests more choice, convenience, and connectivity. We’re proud to serve as a bridge between Türkiye and the world.”
Strengthening Ties Between Türkiye and the UAE
The expansion of Turkish Airlines Abu Dhabi services reflects the growing demand for travel between the UAE and Türkiye, two nations experiencing deepening economic and cultural links. The added capacity is expected to boost tourism, business travel, and cargo operations, benefiting both regional travelers and global transit passengers.
As Turkish Airlines continues to expand its Middle Eastern footprint, the move aligns with its broader strategy to connect major cities through Istanbul — a gateway that links East and West. For Abu Dhabi travelers, it means easier access to the airline’s vast international network, from New York and London to Tokyo and Cape Town.
With the new schedule, Turkish Airlines Abu Dhabi flights promise to elevate convenience, strengthen connectivity, and further establish the airline as a leader in global aviation.
